Lauren playing defender this game, had to defend the right just to stand up, they did a lot of pushing on her...
Did I mention that it was raining?
Lauren slipped in the mud & it was a call against her for SLIDE TACKLING!!!! ( Which gave Corning a free shot at goal & A GOAL!)
With some other SLICK playing from Palo Cedro, Corning is no longer undefeated!!!
Did I mention that I sat in the car & watched from a dry seat?

Oooooh, I am so jealous! We had two soccer games in the rain yesterday...the first was not so bad, but for Ry's game I was SO soaked! My rain jacket soaked through, and it dripped on my shoes so bad they were puddles! The cars are just not close enough to sit in at the soccer park. I wished so badly I could take a pic of all of us idiots standing in the pouring rain watching the kids slip n' slide through the game! So glad you got some pictures!
Oh it looked cold and miserable at that soccer game!!! You are a smart woman to sit in the car! I would have done the same, and did at a track meet that was so windy and cold I just couldn't stand it. My son was SO mad at me though, that I learned my lesson that if you can't see all the action, a mother must endure the elements! hee hee Ah, the joys of motherhood are many! :-)
